Arrowhead West, Inc.’s Residential Program provides services and supports to individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (I/DD). These services offer adults a number of different living environments and supports designed to maximize each person’s needs, choices and participation in the community.
Individuals who choose to live in the community can receive assistance with maintaining a household, such as meal planning, shopping, cooking, cleaning, laundry, communication, budgeting and money management, hygiene and personal appearance, social skills, safety, community awareness, transportation, etc.
Residential services range from overnight support in a home owned by Arrowhead West, Inc. to a weekly staff visit in a home owned by the individual. Staff is committed to helping individuals participate in the activities they most enjoy. At all times, the persons rights to make choices, to be respectfully regarded as contributing adults, to live inclusively in their community and to be free of abusive, neglectful and/or exploitative acts are preserved.

Arrowhwead West, Inc. offers three types of Service Settings.
Supervised Living
Single structures for six or fewer persons, usually with private bedrooms but share a common kitchen, dining room and living room. Persons in this setting frequently need daily supervision and support and generally have a staff person available overnight. The environment is designed to improve life skills, personal and social adjustment of disabled individuals needing daily support to enable them to become more self-sufficient in the community. These facilities are owned and operated by Arrowhead West, Inc.
Supported Living
Apartments or private homes. These settings are usually for three persons or less. Generally, persons in these settings need less supervision, structure, support, and training. Persons may live at facilities owned by Arrowhead West, Inc., or they might live in their own apartment or home.
Independent Living
A support program for persons living on their own and not in a residence owned by Arrowhead West, Inc. The program is for adults with disabilities who can be independent with minimal support. The program includes advocacy, information, and referral to other community services.
