Division Manager - Western Kansas Division
Description: Directly responsible for the management of all programs and services within the Western Kansas division (Dodge City and Kinsley) of Arrowhead West. The main office is located in Dodge City.
Requirements: Minimum qualifications include a BA from an accredited four-year college or university and a least five years of related experience; three of which must have been in a mid-management (supervisory) or higher-level position. Degree requirement may be waived with 10 or more year's management/supervisory experience, with five or more of those years being in the human services field. Must be able to effectively communicate in English, including the ability to read and write in English. Valid driver's license.

Full-time Nurse
Description: Reviews and makes recommendations to agency medication policy, procedures and forms to assure compliance with the Nurse Practice Act and related KDADS licensing regulations. Provides staff in-service training, delegates administration of medications and other procedures to non-licensed personnel. Performs physicals for staff. Orders medications, stays informed about new prescriptions and oversees MAR/Med Log changes and updates.
Requirements: Minimum of one year nursing experience. Must hold a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Kansas and have a minimum of one year nursing experience. Must be able to effectively communicate in English, including the ability to read and write in English. Valid driver's license.

Program Manager
Description: Responsible for the day-to-day coordination in the Adult Life Skills, Retirement and Work Services programs. Responsible for the facilitation of meaningful participation in activities and community inclusion for clients.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in appropriate field and two years’ experience in rehabilitation programs or vocational management required. Degree may be waived with five years’ experience working in a day service setting.
Location Available: Full-time position in Pratt
Trainer (Direct Care Trainer)
Description: Provides on-site training to new staff members in their assigned work setting with an emphasis on how to perform day-to-day duties. Assists with development of staff training, notification of trainings and tracking. Guides staff through orientation process and ensures orientation process is completed.
Requirements: High School Diploma/GED and valid driver’s license. Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a direct care position.

Case Manager
Description: Responsible for the coordination of client services, including the management of a caseload as assigned.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree and 6 months experience in disability supports or the requirements for the State of Kansas to include a minimum of 6 months experience in the field of human services and either a Bachelor’s degree or additional experience in the DD field which may be substituted for the degree at the rate of 6 months of full time experience for each missing semester of college. Valid driver's license.

Speech-Language Pathologist
Description: Directly responsible for the origination and implementation of all speech and language objectives included in any Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP), including case management. Assesses communication skills and functional abilities to determine eligibility for early intervention services. Conducts hearing screenings as part of initial, annual and ongoing assessments and interprets medical reports within the scope of Speech Language Pathologist’s experience.
Requirements: Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in speech-language pathology in addition to a current Speech-Language Pathology license from the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (KDADS). Preference may be given to an individual with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (C.C.C.). Requires substantial knowledge of early childhood education and special needs. Must have the ability to perform basic math, review and interpret highly technical information, write technical materials, and/or speak persuasively to implement desired outcomes and analyze situations to define issues and draw conclusions. Valid driver's license required.

Additional Information: Salary is determined by the Special Education Cooperative’s salary schedule. Position is based in Dodge City, Kansas with travel required to area counties.
