Division Manager
Description: Directly responsible for the management of all programs and services within the Mid Kansas division of Arrowhead West.
Requirements: Minimum qualifications include BA from an accredited four-year college or university and at least five years of related experience; three of which must have been in a mid-management (supervisory) or higher level position. Degree requirement may be waived with 10 or more year's management/supervisory experience, with five or more of those years being in the human services field. Valid driver's license required.
Locations Available: Full-time position in Pratt.
Early Childhood Interventionist
Description: Supports infants/toddlers and their families in home and community based settings. Responsible for completing developmental screenings, evaluations, IFSP service planning, family coaching and team collaboration in order to work toward identified outcomes for each child. Serves as a Family Service Coordinator (FSC) for assigned families.
Requirements: Credentials may include the following Kansas licensed professionals: Early Childhood Special Educators with Early Childhood Unified endorsement (ECU covering birth to 3), Registered Nurse, or Speech & Language Pathologist. Requires knowledge of early childhood development and delays. Valid driver's license required.
Additional Information: Salary determined by Special Education Cooperative's salary schedule.
Locations Available: Position is based in Dodge City with Travel required to area counties.
Trainer (Direct Care Trainer)
Description: Provides on-site training to new staff members in their assigned work setting with an emphasis on how to perform day-to-day duties. Assists with development of staff training, notification of trainings and tracking. Guides staff through orientation process and ensures orientation process is completed.
Requirements: High School Diploma/GED and valid driver’s license. Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a direct care position.
Locations Available: Full-time position in Wichita.
Maintenance Worker
Description: Performs routine maintenance to keep agency vehicles and facilities in good repair.
Requirements: High School Diploma or GED and valid driver’s license. General knowledge of carpentry, HVAC, automotive maintenance, electrical work, plumbing and painting.
Locations Available: Full-time position in Dodge City.
Life Skills Instructor
Description: Provide guidance and assistance to persons with disabilities to learn life/work skills in our day program.
Requirements: High School Diploma or GED and valid driver’s license.
Locations Available: Dodge City (one part-time and two full-time positions)
Community Living Instructor
Description: Assist adults with disabilities with daily living skills in home setting.
Requirements: High School Diploma or GED and valid driver’s license.
Locations Available: Full and part-time positions available in Dodge City, Pratt, Medicine Lodge and Wichita. Part-time position available in Medicine Lodge and Coldwater.
