GIFT OPPORTUNITIES
Each year the need for our services increases. Over the
past ten years, the number of persons with disabilities served by Arrowhead West
has grown by 250%.
Expansion of facilities and services, and decreasing
governmental support prompted establishment of an endowment in 1985. The
Arrowhead West Endowment Association serves as our source of perpetual funding
and financial stability to insure continuation of programs and services.
Usage of endowment funds varies from year to year, depending upon where the need
is greatest. Uses include financing the construction of our Child Services
Center, Adult Life Skills Center and purchase or construction of housing.
If you have been seeking a way to make a lasting gift for
the benefit of persons with disabilities, PLANNED GIVING is an excellent method
to do just that.

The program provides a unique opportunity when you make a charitable gift of
cash or property. Under the terms of gift annuity, you will receive a
fixed payment from that gift for life. That way you enjoy the tax benefits
of a charitable donation while portions of the payments you receive may be free
of income tax. It is also possible that money could be taxed at capitol
gain rates, which are much lower than rates on other income. |
